In July 2014, I was thrilled to learn that I had been short-listed as a finalist for the Ideastap Inspires/Writer’ Centre Norwich national fiction competition. I had submitted an extract from my unpublished novel to the competition and, as a prize, was invited to attend a free fiction master-class with D. W. Wilson.
